A New City

Jessica walked down the street, rain pouring down on her black umbrella. Her footsteps made almost no noise on the pavement. She adjusted the grip on the small dark purple cage that she held in her right hand. She looked around for any signs for a motel, hotel, or any other place to stay.

Midnight had already given up for the day at his custom shop and had changed back into his normal cloths. He had been walking down the street in the rain for some time now and was soken wet, but he didn't care. Why should he. He had no family no friends and his only goal to fight Dante the devil hunter had been rendered useless due to the fact that dante had disappeared a long time ago. On his was back home at the devil may cry shop that Dante son of sparda used to own. He noticed a young girl holding a black unbreala who looked a bit lost. These didn't mean much to the young clone of sparda. He simply walked by the young girl with out a word.

Jessica looked up as someone walked past. Typical But she wasn't just going to go ask the person for help. A meow came from the cage and Jessica shushed it. "We'll find somewhere soon..." A loud clap of thunder boomed overhead and a bolt of lighting flashed across the sky. Jessica shivered but kept walking.

Midnight stopped as he heared the young girl say something, but he was to far away to hear her. Midnight stould and thunder and lightning ruled the sky. Arrows of rain fell upon him as he pulled out a card from his jacket. "if you need a place to stay try here..." he throw the card at the young girl. The card cut through the rain as it headed from the ground next to here. Sounds of metal ring out as the card cut into the concreat.
Not waitng for her to pick up the card he walked forwards. Slowly making his ways through the rain. torse the shop the was labled on the card.

Seras had been searching for Midnight for a while and was about to give up when she noticed a young man that looked like Midnight throw a card at a girl who looked about the same age as her. Seras jumped down from the building that she stould on and landed next to the girl. She staired at the young man as he walked away in the rain.

Jessica bent down and picked up the card. Still squatted, she read it over. "It's just up ahead..." she mummbled. She looked down the dark street, not sure whether she should go or not. If the guy wasn't nice, she could always kill him. But then she'd have to leave and find a new town. But she was out of money... Well, she didn't have to kill him. Knock him out maybe?

A meow from the cage brought her out of her thoughts and she stood up. "We might have a place," she said quietly.
